TATTOO CONTEST RULES:

  • Each contestant must pay a $15 entry fee, per category. There are no refunds.

  • You must be present (at stage) 10 minutes early. 

  • Tattoos must be complete to be entered into competition.

  • You may enter the same individual tattoo in more than one category. 

  • A "Small" tattoo is considered 6" inches or less.

  • Anything over 6" is considered "Large."

  • Sleeves and back pieces may not be entered in any single categories unless it is one individual piece contained within a sleeve or back piece. 

  • A "sleeve" must be a half or full arm sleeve or a half or full leg sleeve and it must be complete. 

  • Black and grey tattoos may have only up to 10% accenting color. 

  • Blackwork tattoos cannot have any color. 

  • To enter the Best "Cover up" category a photo of the original piece that was covered up must be present at judging. 

  • To enter Best "Portrait" a reference photo of what the portrait piece was based on must be present. 

  • Tattoo of the Day must be started and finished that day of the contest.

  • Best of Show is a tattoo that was started and finished through the duration of the event.

  • No complete disrobing during competition. 

  • If you are a judge, you may not enter any category you are scheduled to judge. You also may not judge a category that one of your pieces has been entered into. If you need to be excused from judging a specific category an alternate judge will be provided.
